Join HIBC's First Environmental-Friendly Week: Let's Create a Greener Future Together!

At HIBC, we believe that successful businesses don't just thrive economically; they positively impact their communities and the environment. That's why we're excited to invite you to our First Environmental-Friendly Week, a special event designed to raise awareness and encourage action towards sustainability and responsible consumption.

When: November 20th – 24th, from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm daily
Where: HIBC Community Space
Entry: Free, No Reservations Required

 Why You Should Join Us

Every small action counts when it comes to protecting our planet. Did you know:

Recycling just one ton of paper can save up to 20 trees from being cut down?

A single button battery can pollute as much as 600,000 liters of water—almost a lifetime’s water consumption for one person?

HIBC is committed to corporate social responsibility (CSR), recognizing our role in fostering sustainability and community wellbeing. Our First Environmental-Friendly Week is your opportunity to be part of this meaningful journey.

 What's Happening?

We've planned engaging, informative, and impactful activities:

1. Waste Paper Recycling Booth

Bring just half a box of used paper to our recycling station, and in return, you'll take home a beautiful DIY green plant—crafted from recycled bottles! Your paper will also be responsibly recycled to reduce deforestation and landfill waste.

2. Old Clothing Recycling Booth

Did you know 95% of discarded clothing could be reused or recycled? Join our clothing recycling initiative by bringing at least 5 pieces of clothing or fabrics you no longer need. Not only will you declutter your closet sustainably, but you'll also receive a lovely DIY plant as a token of appreciation. Give your garments a second life and support circular fashion!

3. Used Batteries Recycling Booth

Protect our waterways by bringing your old batteries for proper recycling. Donate just 20 used batteries and get a DIY green plant in return! Batteries pose significant environmental risks, so every recycled battery makes a difference in keeping harmful substances out of nature.

4. Exhibit: Malam Lake Desertification Control Project

Explore our special exhibit showcasing a desertification control initiative at Malam Lake in the Alashan region, Inner Mongolia. This inspiring case study highlights practical steps being taken to combat desertification and emphasizes why collective action is critical.

Donation Full of Love: Mercy Field Home

As part of our commitment to community support, HIBC is partnering with Mercy Field Home, a charitable organization in Fuzhou that provides care and education to children of prisoners. By participating in our recycling activities, you're not only protecting the environment but also supporting vulnerable children and teenagers in need.
